SCHOOL DIARY

1. Students must bring their diary on all school days.

2. A student must affix his / her photograph and fill up the required information duly signed by the parent in the space provided in the diary.

2. The school gates will close at 7.25 a.m. on each working day. Late arrivals will be sent back.

PUNCTUALITY

Classes I - XII :

1. Students of classes I-X must reach school by 7.20 a.m. to enable school work to commence at 7.25 a.m.

Pre-primary :

1. Students of Pre-primary must reach school by 9.50 a.m. to enable school work to commence at 9.55 a.m.

2. The school gates will close at 9.55 a.m. on each working day. Late arrivals will be sent back.

GENERAL DISCIPLINE

1. Parents are requested to cooperate with the school to ensure that their child follows the school rules of conduct and discipline.

2. Children will not be allowed to go home during school hours. Parents are requested not to accept any social engagements or fix medical appointments during school hours. Parents are requested not to send their children to school on the day they have such appointments during school hours.

3. Students should move from one class room to another in an orderly manner without making any noise.

4. Students should wear clean and tidy uniform. The school uniform is to be worn every day and for all the school functions. Students who are sloppily dressed, will be sent home.

5. Students will maintain silence in school premises at all times.

. Students are expected to respect the school property and take care of it. Strict action will be taken against those who are found damaging the schoolfurniture/property, writing/drawing anything on the walls or in any way damaging things belonging to the school or others. Damage done must be reported at once to the class teacher, Headmistress or Principal or other authorities of the school. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it. Anyone who notices anything damaged, must report the matter even if he/she does not know who has done it.

7. Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instrument to the school.

8. Lending or borrowing of money and other articles is strictly forbidden.

9. The school reserves the right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against a student whose conduct is harmful to the school's reputation.

10. Students are expected to keep their classrooms/school building/campus as neat as possible and throw litter in the dustbins provided.

11. Students are not permitted to bring valuable articles like expensive watches or fountain pens to the school. The school will not be responsible for loss of such articles.

12. Use of foul language will not be tolerated and offences will be strictly dealt with.

13. Students must ensure polite behaviour at all times. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet the teachers whenever they meet them.

14. It is expected that the juniors are treated with love and affection, while they in turn show respect to their seniors.

15. Students are not to miss any teaching/games/activity periods whether in the class or not. The time-table in-charge has been directed to make alternate arrangements in case a teacher is absent.

16. Students are strictly forbidden to carry mobile phones to the school. In case any student is found to be in possession of such phones he/she will be suitably punished.

17. The name, class and section of the student must be clearly marked on all his/her belongings.

18. Students are not allowed to bring crackers, holi colours, etc to the school. Bursting of crackers or playing with colours in the school is likely to lead to suspension of the student.

19. Students are not permitted to buy and eat anything from vendors outside the school gates.

  • • Spitting in or near the school building.
  • • Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.
  • • Smoking
  • • Gambling
  • • Use of drugs or intoxicants
  • • Rowdyism or rude behaviour.
  • • Use of violence in any form.

21. Students must carry light bags, unnecessary articles should not be brought to school.

22. The observance of rules of discipline of the school and good behaviour is an essential condition for a student's continuation in the school. In case a student violates the school rules or indulges in any form of indiscipline, strict action, like expulsion / suspension / rustication, shall be taken against the student.

23. Ragging and bullying of any kind is strictly banned. Disciplinary action will be taken in case of violation of this provision.
